Exeter Hospital is a level 3 trauma center located in Exeter, New Hampshire. This community-based practice gives a small-town feel and collegial working environment. New Hampshire is considered one of the best practice states, and all practitioners are encouraged to practice to the full extent of their license. Exeter is a medically directed site with a good amount of autonomy as well as a team approach. Exeter is conveniently located, being less than an hour from Boston and Portland, which is great for commuters within the family. Exeter is located next to the seacoast, and within close distance to mountains. This excellent location has great access to outdoor activities and notable schools, such as Phillips Exeter Academy. It is considered a great place for family living and community. There is no state income tax or sales tax.

Case Assignments
General surgery, ortho, endo, ENT, GYN, labor and delivery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, plastics. No head/hearts, chronic pain, radiology, electrophysiology. Epidurals, Blocks/Lines are available but not required.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
